北歐小品

今天收到比利時的來信，是位藝術家喔~

Hi everyone! My name is Maaike. Pronunciation: Michael without the L. I can’t remember how many times I had to explain that one 

大家好!我的名字是Maaike. 發音是沒有L的Michael.我不記得曾經跟多少人解釋這一點! 呵呵!

I live in a mediumsized town in Belgium, called Mechelen. Ideally situated, smack in the middle between Antwerp and Brussels (Belgium). Yes, you read it right, Belgium, the country with the most delicious chocolate in the world!

我住在比利時的一個中型都是叫Mechelen。它的地點非常理想，位於安特衛普(Antwerp)和比利時首都布魯塞爾(Brussels)中間! 是的!你看到的比利時，就是有著世界最美味的巧克力之美名的國家!

Recently the city council started a lot of renovation projects and I have come to love this town, all over again. Small gardens all around, historical building, old churches.. I have it all! You can see a few of my favourite sights right here…

最近，市議會開始了很多整修項目更讓我重新愛上了這個城市! 城市裡有著許多小花園，歷史建築，老教堂...應有盡有，你可以從我的照片上看到我最喜歡的幾個景點...

When I was little I always loved helping out at parties. One time I was even chosen to carry around the glasses. I was so proud! Right up until someone took a glass of my plate and all of them came tumbling down… I was so embarrassed. Everyone kept staring at me, a little 8-year old girl. Till this day I still have something against champagne flute glasses 

小時候的我非常喜歡在派對聚會上幫忙，有一次我被選為幫忙端玻璃杯的服務生，我覺得既高興又驕傲!!

直到有一個人從我的托盤上拿走一個杯子，所有的杯子都掉在地上...讓我覺得超級丟臉!!每個人都在看著我，甚至是一個八歲的小女孩!!到現在，我還是對香檳的玻璃杯心有餘悸!

When I started studying in Brussels, I started crafting as well. Crafting became my way of unwinding, letting go of everything and just thinking about the design. I have been having fun with it for several years now, giving almost every creation to my friends as gifts. Just recently I took a leap of faith and started selling online. I’m also a huge fan of flea markets. Combining my crafting and vintage finds is like a dream come true  

從我開始在布魯塞爾念書的時候，開始製作起手工藝品，我從製作這些工藝品中獲得情緒的舒解，這個興趣已經支持我許多年，我也會把我製作的東西送給朋友當禮物。最近，我開始在網路上販售，除此之外，我也喜歡到跳蚤市場尋寶!所以我結合了我的手工藝品和經典款的骨董飾品在我的網路商店上販售，感覺真像夢想成真!!
